From a neutral or long cat, drop the elbows down to the mat and squeeze them in. Lift elbows a few inches until the back is level. Take the body forwards until elbows are over wrists, keep elbows bent. If necessary allow upper body to come up a little as in pic.1. Stage 2 is to bring shoulders down in line with hips. Stage 3 hover the knees, stage 4 come forwards and down. Hold for a few controlled breaths. Keep belly drawn in to protect the lumber, elbows tucked in, legs engaged, don’t collapse down, or allow elbows to go backwards.
